M Patterson & Co (Property Lawyers Ltd) is based in Stockport and specialises in all areas of property law. Our team is made up of the following members of staff:
Michelle Kenwright
Director
Michelle is the sole Director of the firm and has over 25 years of conveyancing experience. Michelle is a fully qualified Licensed conveyancer and member of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers. Michelle is responsible for and oversees all the conveyancing transactions to ensure your transaction runs smooth and stress-free.
Fiona Dakin
Conveyancing Assistant
Fiona has been with the firm for almost 4 years . Fiona has a vast wealth of conveyancing knowledge and is qualified in legal accounts and cashiering. Fiona now assists Michelle in all conveyancing transactions. Having worked in property law for over 35 years, Fiona is extremely experienced and is always happy to assist with any queries you may have.
Rachel Hogan
Conveyancing Assistant
Rachel is the newest member of the team having joined us in Spring 2021. Rachel is a paralegal and assists Michelle in all conveyancing transactions. Rachel has a law degree which she undertook at the Open University and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. With over 10 years of conveyancing experience Rachel is able to assist with all conveyancing and property questions.
Jane Plevin
Head of Accounts
Jane is head of accounts and is the first port of call to obtain an estimate of our legal fees and disbursements. Jane will take your initial instructions before your matter is passed over to Michelle to be dealt with. Jane has over 14 years of legal experience dealing with legal accounts and queries. Prior to this Jane worked for a well known high street Bank for many years.
Kate Whitte
Legal Secretary
Kate has been Michelle’s secretary for almost 8 years and has over 10 years of conveyancing experience. Kate has Level 2 Legal Secretarial Qualification (City and Guilds) and Oxford, Cambridge RSA Qualification in Text Production and Legal Text Processing. Kate is able to assist with any initial conveyancing queries.
Maeve Lester
Receptionist/Administration
Maeve is our receptionist and “front of house”. She has been with the firm for almost 3 years and has many years of experience dealing with customers. Maeve is excellent at dealing with clients and any initial queries you may have.
